The property is in a highly desireable location where townhouses are in short supply and within walking distance of restaurants, shopping etc.Two of the other units with finished attics in the same building  have sold within the last 2 years for 160k and 200k.

I have some money saved up that would be sufficient and some family / friends who are interested in putting some money to work, but would also be interested in alternative methods of financing to scale without the constraint of my personal capital.I'm saying all of this out loud for the social pressure on my new endeavor / goal!

So, where you can find such a Condo is one problem and then you have to think about the distance from where you live.

Are you coming back to the State soon or are you trying to invest long distance?

I don't know how a company could walk you through a long distance, site unseen, purchase better than Roofstock.With that said remember you are paying a premium for this service. 

The reason I started from a distance is due to my job.
