Best rental market in the tampa bay area

I'm looking to buy a 2 bedroom condo / apartment, in the Tampa bay area as a rental property.  What area's are best for renting?  I remember looking to rent from a private owner temporarily, and t.hey all seemed to have no problem accommodating a month to month lease, and one even told me she could rent her place in a day.

Any other suggestions for things I should really look for in a rental property?
