Hello, I am an newer investor (in the game for a few months) in Houston, TX and am looking to find and connect with people in the field.

Any thoughts on owning older homes or triplexes that are early 1900's? The goal would be to buy and rent out with the intention of having cash flowing properties once they are fully paid down. Is this not a good plan ...

Its very early in the game.

Owning property on an island is more for the equity game than cash flow.

Flipping is going to be the best thing for you to get in the game the quickest and build some capital.  

It's all a numbers game, the more contact you make the better your chances of scoring a deal. 

Hi Carson,Small and level with the foundation (if you want to pay to have them clipped all the time), or gone unless you have to have them to make the house fit the neighborhood and not look like the worst place on the block.

I feel that this will take the negative situation of the COVID-19 virus and turn it in to a positive.That is my game plan! 

It's an exciting game and very addicting once you get into it!
