As a part of my preparation for the purchase of my first investment property (shooting for next 9-18 months) I still have a lot of work left to do as far as research on the legal side of things, landlord/tenant contracts, owner financing options, etc. etc. 

You can become an assistant to someone that has access. 

Over the last six months I have been working on my first 28 unit apartment building closing July 17.

These large metro areas are only 4 hours apart but are right now on opposite ends of the spectrum.

Ultimately i want the 50 unit apartment buildings in my portfolio. 

I’m going to sell this property soon as my HOA won’t allow me to transfer it over to an LLC.We want to purchase 5-15 doors (2-6 multi family homes) in the next twelve months and I currently have about $5000 saved and potentially have access to an additional $150k in family/friends money.

My neighbors are a 12+ Unit condo building, 2 flat, 4 flat and an large apartment complex across the street.

The land is relatively flat, no trees or other obstructions, and has access to all utilities. 

Overall I want to make enough capital to get start up cost to start a business that I’m more passionate about even though I love real estate and what it offers.I look forward to being apart of the bigger pockets family!
