Supporting myself would be difficult for 6-18 months would be tough be there could be light at the end.Please provide any insight you can about the company, position, etc.

We currently advertise the properties on Craigslist and state that it's perfect for students and its proximity to the college.

Unlike Brandon recommends (which probably works fine in his state) I can't just take the full deposit without first trying to fill the unit to mitigate losses and itemizing what the deposit was used for (additional advertising, number of days rent missed, etc.)

I invested in some 2 properties years ago, and then sold them; but I'm ready to try Real Estate again with the new tools and support that's available.

I work for Wells Fargo in Retirement Technology as an IT Support Manager (supporting the 401k line of business).

You may do your own advertising to find distressed owners who might me more willing to negotiate on price.

If you want to get into wholesaling, your money is gonna be made from advertising and half of that is from following up with people who deny you.
