Not to come off sounding rude but I would think anyone renting a place in Manhattan on Biggerpockets would have listed it online on a booking site.

There are a lot of great blog articles out there for you to utilize too -- some even provide a step-by-step infographic on how to use online tenant screening services. 

When I withdraw I just do a online bank transfer from my rental account to whatever account I need to.

But I started my journey with a realtor who's name I found here on BP, a PM I found on Roofstock (one of their "preferred" PM's), and an inspector I found online that had excellent reviews.

Your best bet is to call the local PD and have them come out, verify with a walk through that the tenant left, and get a police report to verify that for your records. 

The big problem with online services is they just dont have a long term track record of multiple decades so you are taking a higher risk than owning property directly.
