That's a stellar idea, coupled with the fact that you know the upstate area very well and there are lots of students to attract.Frankly, I encountered the same predicament that you are now faced with and solved it by planting my REI business out of state in the Atlanta, GA area.So, long distance investing is an option that investors have to think of when the RE prices are ridiculously high.But, I handle property management myself, so, that will no doubt eat into your profit margin with the use of hired hands on your part.

My concern now however, is that, with all the publicity about KC, it may soon become like Atlanta GA and Houston, where hedge funds inflows have pushed the house prices beyond reason.
