Multifamilies don't seem to be very common around Houston, although I wouldn't consider my opinion to be terribly 'expert' as I'm fairly new to the area.

And this deal looks like a good entry point with a lot of potential for capital appreciation due to rent increase and improving management of property.If you are interested, I would love to hear views from the experts on the forum.

@Brie Schmidt not an expert on this but I think Cadet heaters with thermostats can be pretty efficient.. there is a company in the northwest that uses those as their standard on new construction.. and over on the Oregon coast were the temps only vary about 30 degrees all year they are popular

I had an inspection and the house needs, in my very non expert opinion, 15-20k in work that I wouldn't be able to afford, nor do on my own(mainly new siding and masonry work).
