I understand that brokers want a commission, and they will promote any type of investment as long as they get a commission. 

I assume that such a brokerage with a regional office could provide the local expertise and the national network to promote the vacant spaces?

I agree with @Joe Fairless - supplementing your direct mail efforts with networking (local REIAs, investor groups, agents) and letting everyone you know (and don't know) that you're actively looking for a deal to purchase in the next 8 weeks will help, too.Let us know how it goes.Best of luck.Jessica

I only moved do to a job promotion.

This sounds self promoting but the event is free with no selling speakers ever and no meeting fees or memberships.

So we decide that we need to do some marketing to promote ourselves.

Sounds to me like MTH was here soley to promote Pinnacle.

So I am hoping REI will give me some supplemental income to cut down my office hours (hence travel).
