For me personally, it's really just as simple as finding what you are passionate about.

I'm also a novice real estate investor, but I found my passion for it in college in the same way you did, after being dissatisfied with the returns I was getting in my stock portfolio.

I am looking to rekindle that passion for real estate via residential fix-n-flips; ultimately working into achieving a portfolio of income-producing properties.

I eventually want to have a few rentals, but fix and flips are what I really want to focus on and I hope to graduate to the commercial level.I also coach youth basketball, another passion of mine along with real estate investing.
