I teamed up with my brother that had just turned 19 and looked 16 but was legally married (the shotgun wasn't even loaded) so he could contract for real estate.

What's up family I have a little issue going on right now and hopefully I can get a little feed back and ideas, ok I found a nice 3/1 brick property he was asking 26k  but got hime down to 13k I put the earnest money down now I have 2 weeks to close but I don't no how I'm going to come up with 10-11k  By  me just getting married at the beginning of this year we emptied out our savings down to 3k so now my issue is I'm needing help to find money for this deal 

You can rent each bedroom out and even get married if you are lucky :) This is what my friend did.

You wouldn't ask a total stranger to marry you (unless that's your thing), it's the same way with networking and mentors.

After I got married, I moved to my wife's single family, used a HELOC to purchase another property.

It is like waiting until you're ready and have all the info/facts before having kids or getting married.

I was only able to get one buyer through the property, and we were pretty much married to that buyer from there on out.What I learned -  Luckily, I took a video of the entire house inside and out.

I own the house my wife and I live in, she is not on the mortgage, purchased before we got married.

wait it out. there will always be another deal. the only partner you need is the one you are married too now.
