I am working with the county inspector as well.

I had an equity partner in on the deal so profits were split 50/50, I also "saved" 15K-20K by doing some work myself, which I will try to limit on future deals.The project took a little longer than anticipated mainly due to my lack of experience dealing with the county and building inspectors.

If an inspector investigated it he would see that it is beyond being up to code and is fine.

It now has toxic mold (I had an inspector come in) and was told I have to fix the water problem before having it removed.

Becoming a licensed inspector involves an apprenticeship I believe.

How many people post here daily about the frustrations they have with their buyer's agents, the listing agents of the properties they buy, appraisers, buyer inspectors, their end-buyers and end-buyer agents, mortgage brokers, etc?

If there is live infestation I'd get a structural opinion from the inspector.

I do remember that from earlier days.. a good agent leads you to so many other good people... inspectors, contractors, lawyers, money, etc.Right now I'm making phone calls and emailing agents, fishing for a good match.
