Have a friend that bought a small apartment building in Bay City that performs well - despite the challenges of dealing with a small mom & pop property management company.Some of the challenges they tell us about cause us to just shake our head and wish we operated up there.Our friend tells us that there aren't many PMC options up there:(

I have used Turbo Taxes for years to file my personal taxes, so I am very familiar with the platform, but just concerned that I'll be in over my head with filing taxes for my rental property.

Did the brokerage get in over their head trying to expand while the market has been so busy?

Sheesh... the response I'd prepared in my head changed when I got to the part explaining what his "past" was.

This is why I like the vacation rental space over just some place to lay your head. 

I did well enough - after coming on board in June, I won "Top Listing Agent" for the year, out-listing seasoned agents who had a 6 month head start.
