Yes it's nuts.

Our Patrol Officers sometimes look very militaristic (but not always).And like the old song says, Michigan seems like a young man's dreams; the islands and bays are for sportsmen (in other words Deer Hunting and Fishing are always a good conversation starter when traveling there).There is an open hunting season at all times on public and private land from August 1st through March 31st every year. 

to add onto what @James DeRoest said, in addition to ongoing sealing you have to do to maintain it (which you probably don't want to entrust a tenant with), granite is porous (like wood or skin), so if a tenant spills wine, or oil, or grease, or meat sauce, or fish guts, or chicken innards, or other liquids that can stain, those liquids seep into the pores and may not come out if not properly attended to, leading to discoloration.For B class tenants, the ROI is not with it.

The auction was just a method to fish out your max bid and get you to submit an offer that is binding on you but not the seller.

Had I run the AC or heat that smell wouldn't have gone away and it would have driven me nuts until I found it.  

The 70% rule on here drives me nuts I know its causing newbies to miss deals, there was a painful post on here about a guy in San Diego who missed a deal and asked if he messed up on here.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful but you would have to be nuts to think you could drag someone through that type of legal proceeding and think they are going to the turn around and sell you their property.
