If they're aren't many similar, you can stretch that a little but don't hold an 85 year old building to a 2019 build's valuation. 

So finally the only explanation is that the locking mechanism somehow became unlocked halfway through an open cycle, which would be generous to call that unlikely, but perhaps not impossible.

Finally, I'd be sure to confirm who you're working with day-to-day, whether it's who you interview with or a member of their team. 

Then add 25% to the final construction budget.  

Hi Christine - I was finally able to get my husband to come around when he started seeing my success.

If there are none, then I would just budget for a new one and then replace once it finally goes. 

Finally, I do highly recommend that you do some research on syndications before you get started.

I found a new construction home in a subdivision that is in the final close out.
