Curious how some of the more experienced investors would evaluate this situation.

I've just recently begun a real estate investment education, with the plan to partner with more experienced folks in my area to learn. 

I don't know what their excuses were, but they could be experiencing valid difficulty in their business.

Is anyone in a similar situation or what would some of the experienced folks here suggest ?

I was wondering if there was anyone on this feed experienced with Canadian permits and documentation that are required to proceed with getting a construction permit.

After finding how bad the numbers looked, I posted my projections here to get critiques from more experienced investors since I'm a bonafide noob - and here we are!

Would greatly appreciate any experienced investors advices on finding and structuring jv partnerships?

What I didn't like was the process, from application to closing it's a constant magnifying glass on your personal finances and spending which is a challenge in NYS with closing process experiencing significant delays.2.

XD  I really do appreciate having highly experienced folks like you and Chris provide a backboard of reason and logic against all of it, though.
