Brent,   BP as you have noticed there are varying degrees of opinions and bed side manner. 

My mortgage company did not mail the escrow check in a timely manner and they called to let me know I should look into it.

I have interview with numerous brokerages this past week and am struggling to compare the differences in an equitable manner.

He is looking much more at the long term benefits of loan paydown and appreciation.In regards to having to us the loses in a 'deferred' manner he thinks of it this way; "It is like deferred compensation".

Not calling back or returning emails in a timely manner, or at all. 

Some of these multi families and any residence for that matter are in need of so much remodeling that it’s crazy how anyone could get there money back out in a timely manner.

This is a situation of purchasing and selling inventory as a business, and would be taxed in the same manner as if you were purchasing t-shirts and reselling them (or vehicles, if you want to get into a higher price point object).
