I Know it's wrong, I do have a warped scenes of enjoyment, but I can not resist the pleasure I derive from making their lives miserable while all along they have the misconception they are making mine miserable.

This is a great way to get your feet wet and learn what goes on "behind the scenes" in multifamily investing and management.  

I look for bars on windows, graffiti, overgrown lawns, cars on cinder blocks, etc.

This can help you decide which avenue of real estate investing you may want to go down; flipping, buy and hold, etc.Search and browse the community, education, marketplace and tools bars on top of the site to see what information is available.Setting up keyword alerts will help let you know if someone is talking about a particular topic in a forum.I only know if people are responding to to my posts or replies if they are using the "@" feature as that is how I have my alerts set up.

Find people that believe in full transparency because despite of how it looks like on the internet/HGTV/podcast it's not "easy" and there is a LOT going on behind the scenes.

Also, I doubt if most Bar Area residents have the stomach to self-manage Stockton cash flow property...:)) 

I want to stay away from areas where bars are necessary on the windows, and drugs and violent crime are high. 

They could have been hoping that appraised values were much higher one year in, or that this house could set a new bar for appraisals on future projects. 2.
