For me its just important that they are honest about who is living in the unit, so that I can review everyone's background/eviction history as long as the one(s) signing the lease have a solid enough financial profile for me to have recourse in the event of nonpayment.Its similar to what I do for students - the parents sign as "guarantors" on the lease, ie they are guaranteeing the financial end, meaning the actual occupant just has to pass the background portion.

It’s almost like they are fighting for market share of our property or that a HomeAway has fallen off a cliff.Anyway, as a relative newcomer to STR, I was steered to listing on Homeaway as the aggregator (not VRBO) and I notice that I cannot access (edit) my listing on VRBO... only on HomeAway.In the background Expedia seems to be doubling down on VRBO and losing focus on HomeAway - I am curious if others have observed this and if there is a way to fully activate myself as an owner on the VRBO site?

That being said, if you have a contractor that is able to start in 2 weeks, I would put my pessimist hat on and really screen them and do the property back ground checks such as google review, BBB and ask for 3 recent projects, before and after pics of that project and the phone number of the individual who hired that contractor.
