My mother is also looking to sell her house, and needs a realtor so the tenant could also represent her.

My mother in law recently deeded 50% of a property she co-owned with her son to him in San Francisco.

My father is a master carpenter, mother is his hustling partner.

The health care sector seems to attract many of the people who are looking to rent on the east side (not just doctors and nurses, but also staff- think researchers, administrators, etc).

So my early-adopter, start-upy friends could get in early right after I close, and maybe my retired mother comes in after stabilization.Does it work, and if i have that exit strategy in mind, should I do anything before-hand?

The other deal came from an acquaintance from high school (33 years ago) who knew that I do real estate on the side and knew another former classmate of ours wanted to sell his mother's house.
