Jobs are still stagnant and the economy is recovering VERY slowly...But, for anyone who truly understands the situation that this country has faced over the past 5 years, I'd say this is probably a best-case scenario barring an overhaul of our financial system (which isn't going to happen anytime soon, unfortunately).Things are still bad, but we should be happy things aren't worse, as I don't think they could be too much better at this point...

I had a guy who was in the demolition business and he salvages things and sells them he said the stone is worth 300k but he will pay 100k since there is a lot of labor and there is a 16 foot green fire place he said is worth 60 and 7 other that range from 5k and up and a 1890 bar that is worth about 15.

For instance, I know a guy who has several quality, cashflowing multi-unit and mixed-use properties (including a high-end bar, which is kind of cool), which are keeping him afloat right now.The problem is that he is burning through this cash to pay the mortgages on six or seven other properties he was trying to flip, and he doesn't have the money to finish the job.

To give some perspective on square footage, here is a picture of the countertop on my most recent granite install:http://123flip.com/wp-content/uploads/Puzzle_House/Staging/5.jpgThat's right at 45 square feet, for both the countertops and the bar overhang you see.So, the total cost was about $1350 for that project.
