Now, if you own 1200 other units, they may think the management ability is there, ability to pay, the experience level is good, the title interest is then sufficient they may do the deal.

But if your deposit is not sufficient, your landlord may sue you, probably in small claims court where the limit is $5,000 in Florida.

I would think that the presence of asbestos containing materials in the home constitutes a sufficient defect to rescind the contract, so if you don't work with them to remediate those materials, they can probably back out of the contract fairly easily.
