I see people having numerous STRs but I can't get 1 so something I'm not understanding. 

Then you can simply have a 10 day window in between and because they left it in such good shape its a handyman for 1 day doing something like replacing blinds their cat destroyed or a few easy fixes. 

If you open this as a single-member LLC, it gets a little tricky with additional state taxes when sold or if something were to happen to the single member and the property went to a family member.

Some things you may want to consider:  does the rent on these units include utilities?

Is this something the court can require AirBnB or VRBO to disclose, past rental records? 

Wondering if this is something I can get into with little to no financial risk or if I should wait until I'm out of college and have more money.
