Depending on the results,  I then decide to move forward with the property or look elsewhere. 

Don't cross those roles with each other.Keep investing and moving forward!

I used to reply, talk in DM about what we have, etc, but at this point I've given up.  95% of the people we'd talk to about leasing our properties so they could STR never moved forward (and most of those, we just never heard back from)So now when someone reaches out, we ask a few questions first. 

I "accidentally" fell into my first property (I bought a place right away, at the right time during the heart of COVID), but then moved to the North Carolina area because I am on active duty in the military.

Someday will move back to it.

You guys should promote how to move with the times, I notice you stopped the cash flow only into understanding appreciation that's dandy and all but not the full picture.

If at that time a child wants to move into the property as their primary residence they will be able to keep the reduced property tax basis.  

@George Voutsinos I would have to disagree with your approach :) The cash flow leaves as soon as the tenant moves out.

You see, I had hit a plateau in my career that I wasn't moving higher.

So just looking to get over the "analysis paralysis" and make a move.
