Kevin Keck Anyone use APIs to get good information?
20 January 2020 | 12 replies
I will say Attom has upped its game in the last few years concerning ML and AI.... so who knows, they might actually have cleaner data now, and overall it might be cheaper to buy from them as a reseller.First American are quality people, and they are scrappy... they have a huuuge database of scanned doc images that they have run ML against for the juicy tidbits of data a county/city does not collect or load onto public-facing .gov sites. Most of the data you are looking for, like accurate monthly parcel/assessor/people ect data can be had just by googling your county name with 'open data GIS' in the search string.

Kar Sun Tenant is unhappy with the rent increase
4 July 2022 | 149 replies
I definitely did my research and I was very professional in my responses.I do believe my tenant must be more of an emotional person who scanned the letter and only saw numbers. He is not into details, which can be a problem. He will probably calm down. But I do like to see how they are emotionally and in the raw.It helps me to assess their emotional maturity and whether I want to deal with the lack of thereof. Thanks
Cole Rorebeck Considering Des Moines, IA as a potential investment market. Any insights?
18 September 2023 | 6 replies
I see the job market continuing to be robust with companies continuing to invest in the Des Moines metro area.I have a couple of rental properties in Des Moines, but I primarily focus on Cedar Rapids (smaller scale and 2 hours east of DM), but I like it for it's lower price point entry on housing and it's positive momentum it is seeing (just like DM).
