How to come up with earnest money for wholesale deal?

Hello B.P. community. I was wondering how I can get past not having the money for a earnest money deposit? The seller (a investor) understands my situation of being broke looking to get started. Understandably he is still requiring a small deposit[$1,000] to cover himself (potential no sale, wasted time ,etc..). Yes only $1K but unfortunately right now I just don't have it( family not a option). Any help/advice is appreciated.

Welp, we all make spending choices.

Most are holding a, what, $700 phone typing on here while waiting in line at Starbucks in their $500 a month car payment.

Not having money is a symptom of larger issues.  Remember this next time you go to purchase something. Ask yourself if it is worth it.
