Instead of going out of pocket for central AC installation you could look at more cost effective alternatives like ceiling fans in the bedrooms, portable evaporative coolers, etc.

A mobile home has TONS of challenges.  

Mobile Homes Hey fellow investors, my name is Caleb, I am a local investor in Grand Rapids MI, and am trying to connect with other investors who have experience with mobile homes.

I have found areas that allow manufactured or mobile homes only, but not an actual house, and they usually have a limit for age of the house (5 years max).

We own a MHP and trying to find the avenue into mobile home auctions/foreclosures to purchase/rehab/owner finance.

I once bought a small, vacant mobile home park and found out later that the village had all but outlawed mobile homes, and nobody had ever had the water billing shut off and I was going to be billed around $160 a month.

This would be for 2 mobile home parks with 8 units and 23 units in each park.
