Any recommendation on great general contractor that has experience working with investors in the Charlotte and surrounding area?

I would like to the location to a suburb of  Madison, or at least a surrounding city. 

We love it here so much, we are considering investing here so we have reasons/places to come back.We’re renting a car today to tour the surrounding area.

This was a "built for purpose" with what appears to be some sound insulation between the levels already(but old), but I still get noise complaints every once in a while from "late night" walking tenants/night shifters, I don't want more noise issues.

It's a small castle out in the country surrounded by a moat. 

I'd like to surround myself with the best and brightest so I want to figure out who the top earning agents are in my area.
