As a lender, I know I have a lot of vehicles available to investors that are helpful in getting parents to assist their kids in this, and I look forward to sharing my expertise with anyone, but I really want to know what you're finding or have found to be a successful and meaningful learning experience for your kids in this arena.  

I would advise you to talk to a good management company because if you try to purchase a large property you will need that expertise to get you through the financing door.

The "options" you mention are all very appealing and romantic sounding, but unless you have someone with some expertise in one of those areas, it can be a challenge to be successful at any of those ventures.

He has a great deal of expertise and would be an ideal partner. 

I don't have a broker I am using to identify properties, I am doing that myself with the intention of bringing in some expertise once I have zoned in on something and need to do some due diligence / put an offer in.
