Hi everyone, I'm new to the Silicon Valley and have sparked recent interest in real estate investment and development.

I am looking for someone knowledgeable in the topic, that might help or partner -- I have a fair amount of RE experience, but have not done acreage development / parcel splits, or related, and am just getting to know the area.       

@Tracey Artist First, develop a relationship with at least one contractor, whose recommendations, quality of work, and ethics you have vetted. 

Kept searching all over upper coastal areas of FL, only reason honing down to CC because of the amount of development happening and by the number new properties coming in the market compared to other places whereas most properties in other towns mostly old.

Hi I'm a web developer living in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

I've also considered turnkey investing in the US, as I'm primarily interested in the development of passive income.

For me the criteria i've looked at and started to develop basically goes 1.

The investments are a mix of commercial property deals (self-storage storage, grocery anchored shopping center, small hotel, NNN developer misc parts of country).

Brandon has BP, Ben Leybovich has CFFU, and others just continue doing things within real estate (PM, flipper, broker, realtor, developer, etc..) to reduce the turbulence.The concept of retiring quickly using RE has been published in blog posts and mentioned in several podcasts but it is oversimplified for mass media production.

What is critical to do before a lot of this though is develop a game plan or investment strategy that fits your goals and overall intentions when working the field of real estate in general.
