Finding that spot where you are able to still make a profit, but not so low you can never get a house is a fine art.Being that I don't know your demographics labor costs, material costs, and where that home lies in relation to the median home cost, it would be hard for me to judge a fair offer for that house.

I think mine was less than $200 and I use it on all kinds of things, car, truck, boats, house, rock landscaping, driveway, everything but the dog

There are good deals there, but it depends on the kind of tenant demographic you want to deal with.

What are the  required setbacks for buildings, landscaping, sidewalks, etc.?

I was getting real good rates from Nationwide but after my 6th property they had to outsource the policy so it was quite a bit more.I am assuming its based on demographics and other factors.

I like the demographics information because it tells you what kind of an investment opportunities will be available in that area.Hope this helps

Demo, drywall, landscaping, painting obviously are much easier to find a decently skilled laborer.  

They felt that was one thing that helped them to assimilate here.Now I learned Spanish in high school , But that was a waste of time,  We were living in San Diego for awhile and the Landscapers crew was starting to do the wrong thing and the Landscaper had left to get something so I went to tell them, I might as well been speaking Martian.
