Sure would be cool if @Brandon Turner or @J Scott or David Greene (wouldn't allow me to mention) would write a book on how to  fully run a real estate investment business, as a business, including acquisitions, management, how and when to hire employees, what roles to fill first, systems for growing etc.

Our maintenance team is very affordable, but it kills me to have a client pay for some simple repairs like a leaky faucet, door knob falling off or not lining up right, bedroom door not closing properly, dryer vent hose fell off, can light came loose, toilet not flushing well, no heating/cooling, the list goes on.

IMO eventually things will come back "online" in the city and so long as big tech companies continue to have HQ's in the Bay Area (which they will, despite all the panicky media coverage), SF will always be the "cool" place to live.

While I know Austin has some cool stuff going on in the tech landscape, BP cheerleading is mostly happening on the basis on click bait articles and YouTube videos and with an investment thesis that revolves on Austin having a lower cost of living vs bigger coastal markets and hence a great market during Covid / Remote work related migration.
