Is the ROI or equity gain favorable to convert the garage into a small one bedroom?

I've been listening to bigger pockets for a couple of years now and I'm just now about to finish converting my garage and 1bdrm into a JRADU.

We replaced the kitchen and the bathrooms, converted a large addition into a 4th bedroom and added all new finishes.

You made a really good move by house hacking your first primary residence.I just got done with converting my garage into a ADU for rental. 

(You can also do the reverse sometimes)You can also choose not to convert certain personal expenses to business expenses. 

We are looking to upgrade and buy a second home as our primary residence and convert the first home into a rental. 

Hello,Wondering if any of you investors who flip MH's on land for cash or on owning financing/rent to own go to the trouble/expense of converting them to a permanent foundation if they are currently not on one. 

What I have concluded so far is that converting existing sqft into an ADU is more cost effective.
