It's like the D.A. vs the defense attorney: the defense tries to poke holes in the prosecutor's theories and if that can be done virtually at all, then the case doesn't have enough merit to send someone to jail.

Hand guns

The gun range if you are renting doesn't want cheap crap ammo running through their guns and messing them up.This is why they require you buy their ammo. You can always try to see which ammo they require and buy that brand before you go in.The smaller ammo is cheaper BUT will also NOT stop an attacker unless you hit vital points whereas a larger caliber bullet will do more damage even if you don't have a direct hit to a vital target. So there are tradeoffs. If you don't practice with a gun and use it frequently it is a waste of time buying one. Most avenues you aren't allowed to carry so need to know how to use your body for defense FIRST before going to external weapons.I would get him some knife training as well as that is more prevelant than guns.

Annual E&O is $200, there is a small monthly fee to tap into their ZipForms system (zero paper system), but that is all you pay to the broker, and they provide a conference room that you can use when you like, a marketing dept that will assist you as needed, and a nice "virtual office" web environment. There is another local agency that is $300/month flat fee, and you keep 100%.
