Hi,We are planning to get our first STR and have narrowed it down  to high desert area as it will be close enough for us to manage by ourselves.I am looking for any inputs from current or aspiring STR owners in the area for the insight on how is the market these days?

In fact, it a very necessary trait.I am not a believer that you must cut yourself off from friends just because they are not entrepreneurs.

It sounds like you've got a decent grasp on what you're aspiring to do with wholesaling.

My wife is self employed as a personal trainer/entrepreneur and we both love learning about real estate like everyone else on this forum.My wife and I are seriously looking into a school in Omaha and are looking to buy our first SFH there, with plans to turn it into our first rental after I graduate.

I’m guessing one of the reasons it’s harder to find investors is that many of them are no longer accredited due to the drop in the stock market... borderline millionaires are now back to aspiring to be millionaires.

BTW, if you are going to be full time investors/ entrepreneurs you don't need a masters degree in anything.
