If they are not on board with STR or even Corporate/Nursing rentals, this is likely to considered a 'loophole' and they may attempt to close it by extending that out to minimum 6 or 12 month leases.Don't let things get contentious when you meet with them.

Just an idea; There are houses that has a "mother in law" unit (Attached or Detached) where you can live and rent the main house.

Sometimes the tenant knows it's you and don't want to answer but will answer their brother or mother.

Because of Bills and Johns mother who is sick, they would like to have as much positive cash flow in the next 5-7 years to offset care costs.
