Personally I don’t think decoupling commissions makes it easier for a buyer, I think a side effect could be it makes (some) buyers agents more necessary.

This means that you will probably need to pay registration and filing fees in at least 2 states if you don’t buy CA property as a CA resident.Any lawsuits should be limited to the assets of the LLC and not your personal assets (assuming you run the LLC appropriately and the corporate veil is not pierced, some debate as to SMLLC).

*However, when I made it clear to mortgage brokers that I did not want the DSCR lender nor the servicer to report to the credit burueas or impact my DTI, they said that they could accommodate that as long as the loan docs and the title are in the name of the LLC (borrower = LLC, not me personally).

Okay, cool, I thought.There were multiple attempts to collect information about me before the calls, and when I asked the person on the call to tell me about the program from the start (Hey, that's why you said to book it), I was told "That's not how this works -- you tell us about yourself for the first 1/2 hour, and then we talk about the program."
