If there's enough equity, can I wholesale a home where the homeowner is behind three payments (no notice of foreclosure yet)?

I'm a wholesaler doing the majority of my deals out of Oakland County and I was wondering if there are any active rehabbers/buy and hold investors in Oakland County that want to be added to my cash buyer list.  

I want to start whole selling and lead to bigger real estate investments. I need help finding investors. Any info is good info.

Can a wholesale deal be done under your own name or do you have to use a business name? 

When I hear 'investor friendly', it usually means the client is looking for an agent to submit a large number of contracts at low-ball prices in the hopes that they can wholesale and/or assign them later.
