I have never been east of the Mississppi River in my life so I do not know how I will help you.

There are still some great deals out there and the central valley is an affordable place to live in California.Bought my first home, a 1915 craftsman and have done most of the work myself to bring it back to a jewel.

In general, I was warned away from property South of the river and around the downtown area on either side of the interstate.

I am in search of a property in the East Valley of the Phoenix area (Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe) under $180k.
