Due to my profession, I need to maintain some level of anonymity -- i.e. need to avoid people easily searching for my name on the county deed/property websites. 

I guess it all depends on the type of renter relationship you have, but  if you start the "it's your problem, not mine" attitude, it's a slippery slope of the tenant losing respect for you, and the "IDGAF" attitude which could cost you a lot more in deferred maintenance.    

I guess I was over thinking it and thought I needed to go find some secret county website or something.

There are many options on the website such as geography, mortgage, property, demographics, foreclosure and so if your used to putting together a list its probably not that complicated, however the criteria I have does not include all those options.

Go to Facebook and read all the comments on their websites after they post something.

Check the agenda on their website, it might still be in progress.

I looked on my county appraiser's website, and I believe she owes about $500 in taxes on the property. 

You can check online references and websites to find more information about the career in real estate.

I have many offers on the property @ $1600 and $1500 respectively that i'm sifting through.assuming they don't all fall through i'm in effectively for no money out of pocket and $3100 in cashflow - the mortgage which should be in the 2k range after the refinance.
