The link I posted will educate you if you read all the posts therein, to the point where you probably would consider the aforementioned paid training (I paid for it and I know what I came away with - PM if you want specifics) redundant or not needed.  

I was curious of your opinion of that and what other training you would advise for an 18 year old.

Companion animals serve a different purpose, and unless they are individually trained to provide assistance to THEIR individual with a disability, they are not service animals.

Tax planning, books set up for a business, on going bookkepping, all take different skill sets.

I am a Classically trained trumpet player, and I mainly play in local churches, for weddings, and other concert-type venues.

What do you train if you don't mind me asking?

I'm fresh out of high school and Atm i don't plan on going to college, plan on entering the marines.

They hire a company who builds a training school for them.Then they sit back and collect the cash.

They are an international association who train and maintain qualified remediation companies within their membership.
