That being said if the owners have lived there for a long time, depending on local laws they have to disclose things they know of that have occurred to you which will give you a decent idea of the homes history.

Also, would doing a house hack with a friend be a good or bad idea?

I will probably take a trip out there to meet with contractors and get ideas on repairs. 

So here’s my idea for a fellow newbie or wannabe in our region.

I think interviewing them both is a great idea, my pm is putting together a proposal for us to look at his strategy to sell.
