@Jay Hinrichs, although as you state AirBnB is just a broker, the success of the network is affected by the actions of all individual STR owners.

Here's what I would do, step by step:I'd hop on BiggerPockets, go the the Houston sub-Forum, and find at least three members who seem to know what they are doing (based upon their profile and their posting history there).I would direct message (DM) each of the members I found and ask if they had a quick minute to give me some perspective on this listing.I'd arrange for individual phone calls.

What do you all think we should do:- combine the parcels and just get a bigger loan (total would probably be around 285-300k for the loan) in order to get the cash out (about 40k)- leave it until the taxes are reassessed (probably 3.5k less then I would calculate) - refinance as individual properties-other option we are not thinking of?
