Wherever they move to, this will follow them and they're responsible for.You are responsible for common electric and gas likely.

Utilities (rource) Your landlord must not interfere with your utilities, including gas, electricity, heat, and hot water.

You might see if cable TV/internet is available.You might check if Natural Gas service is available by calling that utility unless you know Propane or all-electric is the norm in that area.These are the first steps in my area.

It has been vacant for 3 years, with gas and water off for the past year, but electric is on.
