Frequency of maintenance inspections can vary according to property and according to tenant history.

I currently own 3 buy/hold properties in Eastern PA and NJ.  

To take an older home with history, that has been run down and to revitalize it just seems so rewarding.

I have little history in real estate besides a few college courses taken a few years back, so I am very eager to learn as much as I can to help in my decision processes.

One suggestion I have is to find one that also gives you criminal history.

There are many different things to ask a potential tenant.You want to make sure you get a detailed work and rental history.

If you know the agent and have a history with them then I would be much less concerned. 

I want to be wealthy, so wealthy that I can buy back all my time and spend it as i see fit, not doing what I "have" to do.There are non-recourse loans out there (no personal guarantee), but you have to have a track record or some other factor that can offset not having a history of treating banks money well.
