I would like to build a portfolio of multi-family properties for passive income, preferably starting with some triplexes, quadplexes, or small apartment complexes before purchasing large apartment complexes (50 units or more).

I just purchased (5) smaller complexes in Texas and am in the process of removing old carpets and going to 100% vinyl plank for about $2/sq foot installed. 

As Eric mentioned above, you are confusing Dave Lindahl with Fortune Builders.Lindahl is focused on multi-family properties (apartment buildings/complexes) and he is the only national coach I have experience with who I would recommend. 

I agree the rate is low but most complexes in that area (and there are a huge amount are the smaller mom and pop setups with 20 or fewer units) would not be members of the Apartment Association of Metro Denver.

I live in Brush Park and there are some great things happening here in terms of new businesses & apartment complexes that will begin construction by the end of this year.
