I have not seen anyone post about this yet, so I figured I would share some of the highlights after reading the 41 Page Document this weekend  with the new CO Warranty of Habitability Law Updates.I'd like to credit my property manager, @Colin Smith, for updating me and the other owners very promptly and providing a few highlights before diving into the document. 

Definitely recommend them.

The free version is a super basic 3-page lease.

The former surveyor was nice enough to call me back, but will not offer recommendations.

That is also a really great recommendation on how to reframe the situation.

It's unusual to have be questioned by an underwriter about why he financed a loan with a private lender with a poor reputation, however, if it's a concern that he'll continue to be asked about it, I recommend creating a letter of explanation that clearly explains the situation.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good home inspector in the area?

I recommend you continue to rent and save while educating yourself on how to analyze property and buy a good investement.
