There is still some debate because of how new they are and how people will test them in court.

If you're planning on operating in other states I suggest you get the license and one in each state, states have participating agreements you may not need to be tested in other states. :)BTW, that loophole thinking, I can manage a property for you with a power of attorney, that will get past the license requirement for one party being served, it won't fly if I'm conducting business as a property manager.

After I complete the course and successfully pass the test and acquire a RE license can I work for myself?

After that hour, there is a 15 minute Q/A where they are allowed to give a brief description of services and direct you to their booths for more information.

I took the national test on line, a practice test, I missed 6 out of 100 due to some new disclosures required that I was unaware of (I'm aware now), so I have an idea of what's taught.We have 50 different state laws governing the note business and federal laws.

I would say that if they believe the quality of their leads justifies this price they will give you a trial on them to show you this and then i am sure with success you would go in for longer contract.With some arm twisting no doubt you will get a test/taster period.Good luck

Let us know how that works out.No judge will sign off on a court order for DNA testing all tenants. 

Might be something worth testing out on a unit or two yourself.
