I picked up a 7 unit, all in 150k, with about 30k YES 30K net income on about 53k gross.

The simplest way to find one is to just start calling every listing that has a purchase price in the last 2 years in your area that was on an FHA or VA loan AND has been on the market for 60+ days.

If you're running the numbers as a midterm rental, I recommend you start by looking at properties listed on Furnished Finder and also look for 30+ day stays on Airbnb as a starting point.

Because it has been listed before, I'd ask1) why did you have it listed?  

Pick one market, preferably the market in which you want to live and have your REALTOR send you all new and changed listings in email each day.
