I would go where the buyers are....you might show up to the wholesaler showings....so you can meet 20-30 investors bidding on "wholesale" "off-Market" deals....not sure if real estate agent meetings are a good source for you, but depending on the office it could be....you sponsor lunch, snacks, breaks.....in exchange for getting to introduce yourself and what you have to offer.

Now if they have a tenant in place that they are looking to evict, Ive gone in walkthroughs as a buyer that the owner/ agent introduced me as a contractor looking to do property upgrades.

I've been checking out the site for a little bit lately and wanted to introduce myself.

Reading beginner real estate investing books not specifically about vacation rentals will still introduce you to things like due diligence, market research, property management (selection and managing), bookkeeping, working with contractors, etc.Kathy Fettke's Real Wealth Network has a lot of great real estate investing education.

Of course I am not asking for free lunch, and I don't mind giving some profit to whom that introduce me into the field.
